Review on 🪒 Braun Series 3 Old Generation Electric Shaver Replacement Head - 30B - Compatible with SmartControl, TriControl, 300, 310, 320, 330, 340 by Brittney Stone

After reading other reviews I was a little suspicious of the wider blades, foils etc mentioned in other reviews. However, you either had to buy this replacement set or spend another two hundred dollars on a new razor. The current foils + blades (Braun 7505) have been around for about 10 years (I use it once every 2-3 days on average). So far I've used it twice with replaceable foil + blades; The first try with the new foil + blades took more passes than usual, but probably because I was too busy starting and stopping each pass to see the results. The second time I shaved as usual. I think the result was actually smoother (note that my old Mesh+ blades have been in use for almost 10 years now, so the blades are undoubtedly a bit dull and I recently damaged the mesh in 1-2 spots while shaving after one longer than usual when I've taken a few days off from work). I think the new foil with more metal surface makes for a smoother glide. The blades are new and therefore also cut well. I'm still not entirely sure about the new foil design as it's supposed to capture hair better from different angles, but overall it took the same or less time but was much smoother. How long do new blades keep their sharpness? If they last less than a year I will update my review; otherwise, for eighteen bucks, I'll try to think of replacing the blades faster than ten years next time. I've also attached a picture so everyone can see the differences between the foil and blades.
