I bought a similar brush/applicator cleaner from a local discount store a while back. This works really well to clean up my brush between shades of eyeshadow. And the brush I use for blush is good too. Unfortunately, when I decided I needed a replacement part, they weren't stocked at my local store, so I was happy to find one here. The foam insert can be used multiple times and then turned over for more uses, but will eventually need to be washed. Now I have a spare while the first one dries. Since this one comes with extra inserts, I have a few spare inserts; currently. And I'm glad the case/holder is metal and not plastic.
