Review on Defense Soap Variety Pack 🧼 - Original, Peppermint, Oatmeal - 3 Bars by Michelle Wilson

Not very effective, better use grocery store soap

The size and lather of the soap are good, I've used worse. The odor is not unbearably unpleasant, but has an unpleasant clinical odor - any tea tree or mint smell is secondary. I wouldn't say it washed off completely, there always seems to be some kind of film layer that I can't wash off completely. I lathered it up and left it on for a few minutes hoping that longer action would help more but it didn't. I bought this looking for something that might help with folliculitis, at least better than other remedies I've tried. I used mint first and ended up with regular mint. I didn't try oatmeal because I actually got a tinea rash towards the end. I was surprised because I didn't have ringworm before and contracted it while using antifungal soap. I suppose it was faulty logic on my part to follow the idea that if certain ingredients have been shown to have antifungal/bacterial properties then this soap containing those ingredients will achieve the same result. Seems you're better off with Dial or Irish Spring if you need soap.
