This is a very versatile and handy camera reflector/diffuser set. to improve lighting conditions on small stationary or slow-moving objects. I can definitely recommend this set for portrait photography as well. This set consists of two parts and a zip case. When you open the suitcase you will find a folded zipper that opens. Open it up and you will find a translucent diffuser. In fact, the diffuser is the only part that has a plastic rim and opens. The zipper part has gold foil on one side of the outer part and black on the other side. Turn it inside out and you'll see a silver foil on one side and an opaque white foil on the back. A translucent white diffuser is used alone. To use another piece that is one of the zippered pieces, make sure the preferred side is out, then just insert and close the diffuser. several trials in the field.
