My dogs enjoy these chews. They are soft enough for my dog who doesn't like crunchy treats. I have been mixing these chews in with my dogs' food. They always eat these chews before eating the rest of their food. These chews are small in size and would work for dogs of all sizes. They have little shiny crystals coating them.Neither of my dogs shows signs of arthritis, but my older dog is 10, so I figure she should be started on a supplement such as this one. I can't comment on how well these work because I'm using them as a preventative measure.The issue I have with these chews is that they aren't affordable for me as an owner of two large dogs. The Wag brand makes a more affordable option that I had been using before trying these chews. I will stick with the wag brand after I run out of these chews.
