This is a tiny radio, a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes. This is a battery operated AM/FM 2AAA radio with a vintage tuner. I originally bought it to track down local sources of RF noise (a ham radio thing). I have a small FM audio transmitter that connects to my TV sound to act as a hearing aid when all the grandkids arrive. I found it easier to use than my other $80+ portable digital VHF receiver. It's not "Hi-Fi" by any means, but the audio range is perfectly intelligible. I use AAA rechargeable batteries. I'm glad I got it.
