This little fan blows some air! Much more so than the old fans we installed around the house. Installation was pretty easy. For the main electronics box, you had to customize and install some wires. It wasn't difficult, but I'm not sure why it wasn't premade at the factory. This would make the connection more secure. I also wasn't thrilled that the main house's positive and neutral wires are simply pushed into the connector holes and then held in place with a tightened screw. I was concerned that it would eventually take care of itself. The remote control is a little cheap in terms of plastic quality, I'll see how well it holds up next year. In general, on a hot day, this thing knocks down a stream of air that fills the entire room, and even silently.
