Review on HUBSAN H501S X4 Drone: 4-Channel, GPS Altitude Mode, 5.8GHz Transmitter, 1080P HD Camera, RC Quadcopter - RTF Standard Edition in Black by Brandon Wong

I have ordered a MJX 2W Bug and 2 MJX 5W Bugs. All three arrived straight out of the box with parts damaged. I had to send them back. Revain is great at this kind of kickback. They credited my account even before I sent the items back. Now about Hubsan H501S. It was obvious from the start that the packaging was better than the MJX Bugs. To my surprise, Hubsan also included free sunscreen and a lipo battery with a controller port, eliminating the need for AA batteries. The quad looks very solid and well built. On the first flight everything was tested well. No surprises. I made it to just over 300 yards at 100 yards and the FPV still worked fine. RTH worked well, as did the Orbit feature. The FPV screen built into the controller is much better than trying to use a smartphone connected to your controller. True, the screen was sometimes a bit difficult to see in the sun. After the first flight, it took a little over 2 hours to charge the battery. The Beetle's battery lasted about 4 hours. My smart charger will arrive tomorrow so I can charge my batteries in about an hour even at 1°C. So far, the Hubsan H501S has more than met my expectations. Buying through Revain is the only way out. Buying from eBay or any other online store that ships items from China would be a huge hassle trying to return them and get an instant credit.
