Second, your listing was that the duvet has "8 corner flaps" when unfortunately for me and my huge 8 flap duvet cover, this duvet only has 4 flaps. Before buying from this store, I spent a month researching everything from sleazy terms like "Siberian" goose down, "1200 thread counts", "white feather" (think this feather now when it comes to quality/performance ?Of course not, yes!) Pen position is important! It's just another publicity stunt to fool the layman! I also learned about different styles: stitching, hypoallergenic, certified qualities to look out for, as well as species-appropriately caught geese, the best origin to get your feather (that's Hungary, by the way), what to look for in a duvet cover : whether you want a rustling sound or not, the difference between down, feathers and waterfowl, the best age for a bird to use its feather (these are older adult birds because their feathers are fully grown and developed), the best place on a bird to pluck them. the list goes on and on, AND GOES ON! However, to get all the qualities in one quilt, you should spend at least $300-$500 on a quality quilt. When it arrived (which arrived the day after purchase btw) I opened it straight away and instead of using the dryer I just shook it for a few minutes and then put it on a drying rack to test. Again it fluffed up straight away, absolutely no smell, very light and warm. I personally like rustling, so I chose 100% cotton, not a cotton blend. I'm giving 4 stars out of 5 only because of the wrong number of tabs. I really need 8 for my big royal coverage. I would also like to point out that if you measure your duvet cover first, all you have to do is find a duvet with the same measurements. Many reviews have said "the duvet doesn't fit," but have they taken the time to try and adjust the direction they lay their duvet? Admittedly, when I first threw my comforter over the comforter, it was 5-6 inches too short on the sides and I was unhappy. Then I thought for a moment, turned the blanket so that the label was not at the foot of the bed but on the edge of the bed. and then it fits my duvet cover size perfectly! So basically I'm talking here folks, if the comforter doesn't match your comforter in any way, flip the comforter over and try again! Overall I love this comforter and if you do hesitate, don't doubt. It passed this obsessive-compulsive disorder, anal attentive inspector with honor! I haven't slept that well in a long time! ❤️👏👍👏❤️
