The tires that came with my backup generator were inflatable. The generator is pulled out and started every three months; otherwise no tire wear. Ten years later, both tires began to disintegrate: thin rubber lost its elasticity and cracked everywhere. These wheels (I bought two) are solid rubber and will not inflate. They fit exactly as expected (be sure to order the correct size, bearing, and hub offset). Litter generation is, if anything, easier than before. I've read that solid tires have a much longer lifespan than inflatable ones. I'll report in 10 years!
