OK ANKER PROVED ME WRONG

THIS IS A REDACTED REVIEW: The original item I received was defective and Anker asked to send me a new one which I hesitantly accepted and the how expected worked. Well done anchor, few companies today care about customer satisfaction like you do. Love the uncluttered desk and clean lines, I also bought a new Apple MacBook Air and the lack of ports made me look for a hub for all the things I wanted to connect. Buy recommendation: - Long-lasting value - USB 3.0 (minimum) - Long cable Design: Anker USB C to 4 USB 3.0 hub has a sleek and clean look. The metallic gray goes well with the MacBook and the slim design is great for hiding under your desk. with paragraph. (Anker sent a new one and I think it was just a defective block) Cost: $17.99 Pros: ++ Material ++ Appearance ++ Design ++ Build Quality ++ Cost ++ Transfer Speed (on the second one) Negatives: - - Slow transfer rate (on the ground) Final thoughts: I contacted the company and they came up with two solutions. The one where I connect the element faster, which surprised me since the speed at which I physically connect can affect the transfer rate. (Yes, I confirmed that they wanted to connect the element faster). Another solution was that they sent me a new item which I accepted and the new item worked with no problems. It transferred at top speed and worked great with both an SD card reader and an SSD enclosure (among others). I'd say I wish it had USB-C ports, but they never claimed it would, so don't knock that. I like the length of the cable and everything works great. I recommend: Absolutely yes. This is a great product and the company stands behind a product that is rare in the world today.
