I have had two Everflow 6214P-NL sills on the outside of the cab in two years of use. Night time temperatures dropped to -22°C (-8°F) last year and I had none Problems with frost damage. I had a break this year because I forgot to remove the hose to allow the drain faucet to drain. It was my fault, not a design flaw. I ordered a new replacement. These faucets are designed to last having to remove the hose when turning off the faucet handle when the temperature is expected to drop below freezing. They are designed to drain the inner well to prevent ice from forming and splitting the window sill. So they work as intended. You just have to remember to remove the hose to remove and drain the drain cock In our cold winters, the design of the Everflow 6214P-NL drain valve is ideal I thought removing the hose wasn't ideal. This error will not happen again.
