The main reason I got this setup was because it was one mold and not multiple parts. This is a great feature allowing me to fit my Sony into the cage with just one set screw on the bottom. It fits the camera well, allowing me access to the battery compartment and connections. The only downside is that the camera (no matter how tight it is) will always have some play/movement. The previous rigs I've used are molded to the shape of a camera, this being a more generic shape BUT MADE FOR ANY MODEL - I don't want you to think it's a "one size fits all" cage. Still, it's a great cage and I would buy it again.
