Spline cutting is bad. Aluminum crumbs are like butter on a hot day.

Ridiculously thin-cut wedges. Installed and went to work. The torn wedges dropped the rear derailleur and I spent the rest of the ride just shifting the front. I've already tightened both as tight as possible. Drove home, front end disassembled, and I spent the drive home shifting gears, leaning forward, and jerking the shifter. Very insecure.
