Review on 🪑 Baxton Studio 35.5-Inch Tall Leather Counter Stool Set of 2 in Espresso Brown by Amy Kearse

We ordered four stools from Amazon on March 21 for about half the advertised price. Two arrived very quickly on March 25th. What's good is that the stools feel very sturdy and are reminiscent in style of many of the stools we've seen in upmarket furniture stores. Bad ---- the bonded leather material feels very cheap, it has a very strange texture and feel and is more like plastic or something, and the brown color is not very comfortable due to its unnatural appearance. So. We contact Unbeatable Sale, the seller on Amazon and tell them we are still waiting for the other two stools and am told they have not actually shipped yet and will contact me when they are ready. They emailed me on March 30th that they had in fact advertised the price of the stools wrong and they were actually double what we paid so our deal was done and if we wanted to buy 2 more stools by four to get it, we wish we had to buy two more. I told them I had no interest in stools when in fact they cost twice what we paid and that I would never pay that much for just two stools. I would happily return the two I received for a full refund, they apologized for the mistake and would send me a prepaid postage label to mail them. Finally, on April 22nd, we received a refund minus the shipping cost for FOUR stools PER WAY! We only got TWO and the price was wrong! I have since called and emailed Amazon and The Ultimate Sale to try to get my credit card refunded for the shipping cost to no avail. I've spent hours and hours trying to get the refund I was owed by Amazon and an unbeatable sale with no success since May 14th, almost 2 months after buying four stools. If you are looking for this type of stool, I highly recommend looking elsewhere online or locally. We found them a bit cheaper with much nicer leather material to sell locally.
