I've had this mat for a month now. Within the first 24 hours I was amazed at the difference and still am. I followed the product instructions. My cats are ecstatic about digging the litter, so of course some people get it, but far fewer. ** It contains no odor. Even if my cats go out of their crates, it will be a quick cleanup with no lingering odor. ** Sturdy, durable and well made. This is not a lightweight mat that needs regular replacement like previous mats. With no replacement costs, it pays for itself within a year and saves unnecessary disposal of mats. **Sticks securely to hard floors and carpets. ** It looks much neater and cleaner than any other carpet; there is no comparison. ** No cat acclimatization period or dislike of the mat surface. I just didn't see how that could deliver on the promise of leaving less trash on the floor. We have two toilets. I thought it would be a bit pricey if it turned out to be just a neater rug so I just bought one for the box which is in a more public area. But the cleanup is faster and the traceable mess is so much smaller that it's worth it. I'm buying another one for another box.
