Three months ago I would have given this product five stars but then took the kittens to keep my adult cat company. The kittens are now seven months old and too young to safely wear a harness. I will have to wait until they are older and fatter than my adult cat Lucy. Lucy LOVES her dishes. When she sees me taking the leash off, she goes straight to the door and waits like a dog, knowing she can go outside then. She just stands there and looks at me sweetly while I put it on, even as the kittens slap it with their tips. It's very easy to snap on. He is also very reliable. It's NOT a quick release, but it's good for me. I confess that one day she saw a cat and ran away from me and through our fenced yard. She jumped our fence and hung like a fish on a line after I ran up and put my foot on the end of the line. If it really was a quick release I wouldn't be able to pull it back to my side of the fence! Overall I think this is a great product. I've had Lucy's harness for over 3 years now and she uses it almost every day unless it's raining or too cold. It's still in great condition with no tears or scuffs, and that's saying a lot because it often gets stuck in the ground of a backyard bush.
