I ordered this with my Canon SX740 HS and it IS fully ENCODED and works just fine in the camera! For the same price as one OEM Canon NB-13L battery without a charger, you get TWO extra OAprada batteries that work just like an OEM Canon battery along with a Dual Battery charger! Can't beat that deal! The OAproda batteries can also be charged with the OEM Canon 2B-2LC charger that came with the camera! With the battery that comes with the camera, that'll give you a total of THREE batteries to work with! So this deal is definitely WORTH it! For the same cost of one extra Canon OEM NB-13L battery, you instead get TWO extra OAprada fully encoded batteries along with an OAprada charger that can charge two OAprada batteries at the SAME TIME! A USB to Micro-USB charger cord does come with it, but there is NO wall plug/AC Adapter for it! In my case, I used my wife's AC adapter that came with her iPhone. If you don't have one, you'll need to get one to use it. They, fortunately, do not cost very much! My only wish is that the USB to Micro-USB cable that comes with it was slightly Longer! But you can easily buy an extra generic one!
