Review on πŸ“‘ Enhanced Signal Distribution with CHANNEL PLUS 2532 2-Way Splitter/Combiner by Donnie Boss

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good bidirectional splitter

This bidirectional splitter does the job it was designed to do. It arrived well packaged and on time and appears to be of high quality. I used it as a combiner to connect two antennas to my TV system. I've used it to connect two beam antennas to the same cable to receive stations from two different directions (south and west) and it works great. It's not a magical device though, and unless you know how to set up a dual antenna properly, or live in one of those areas where heavy signal reflection causes multiple antennas to fight each other, it probably won't work. for you but for the price it was worth the try and worked great for me. You must consider that every splitter has some signal loss and this must be taken into account when using it. Both of my antennas have amplifiers, and the amplifiers are in front of the splitter, which compensates for any signal loss. If this wasn't the case, I would place the splitter (combiner) as close to the antenna as possible (which I did) and place an amplifier right after the splitter to restore the signal level ahead of the long coax (mine is 40 Foot). All TVs receive all channels the same or even better than before adding the combiner and second antenna. The truth will be how well things work out the next day with bad weather.
