Has failed me ever since

At this price I find this computer amazing, you can screw up/lose a few before you approach the cost of a Garmin. I find the buttons and functions fairly intuitive and the instructions clear. The unit appears to be accurate (comparing friends' travel data: shows similar speed/altitude/distance). I haven't connected any Ant+ devices yet, but I can get a heart rate monitor to test this feature. You need to install the software that came with the device because the GPS file it writes is proprietary. If you plan to upload your workouts to Strava, it doesn't happen directly. To download a workout, you must use the device software to export the .gpx file and then download it. I've had mixed results uploading workouts: formatting the timestamp sometimes didn't allow the file to be uploaded. I don't understand why it works intermittently as there are no export options to change. There is a (long) workaround to properly format the .gpx file for Strava to accept (if anyone needs it, leave a comment and I'll post my method). All in all, this is a surprisingly good little computer. with good battery life and good features if you are looking for a device to download on Strava there are better ones out there but not in this price range. UPDATE 9/16/16: Had to deduct 2 stars. There are more flaws in the unit; incorrect readings and a "lost link" when riding in the peloton of others who also have GPS devices. For the money I really wanted to enjoy it, but having a corrupted file halfway through a Autobahn race is very frustrating. I've since bought a Bryton 330 for ($120) and it's surprisingly good; The real Garmin killer. Buy this machine, don't spend $40 here.

Pros
  • 2.4G ANT+ connectivity: Support for ANT+ heart rate monitor, cadence sensor, speed sensor, combo sensor, power meter (the base model itself does NOT include these accessories).
Cons
  • Very expensive
