Review on 👕 NYC Youth Tee - Lennon Screen-Printed Kids T-Shirt by Alex Jones

I ordered this shirt for my 8 year old son who wanted to be John Lennon for the Living Museum in 2nd grade. I would describe my son as 'average' for an 8 year old boy. He is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 43 pounds. Wow! This shirt has arrived and the size does not match true to size! I thought I'd play it safe and order him an M, which according to the size chart should fit 10/12. NO WAY! This shirt is perfect for a 5-6 year old kid! If you are planning to order a youth size t-shirt for your child. MUST ORDER AT LEAST 2-3 SIZES UP! In earnest! Trust me you will thank me later for this review. Looking back I would like to know if I should order my son Youth XL. I think this size would be perfect for him. He still wore his shirt to school, but first we had to stretch it. I encourage the company that sells these shirts (NYC Factory) to update the sizes of these shirts. Youth size is not correct at all. I still gave the shirt 3 stars because the shirt itself is great. If you can get one that actually fits! By the way: My son was a big hit at his school as John Lennon. Even the director stopped and took a picture with him! In the photo below the shirt is not sleeveless, we just rolled it up for the photo. In fact, he also wore a blue denim jacket over it.
