Review on 🐾 Dyson Ball Animal Upright Vacuum - Corded: Advanced Cleaning Power for Pet Owners by Keith Bradley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Powerful but heavy and awkward to use - and it broke

This vacuum cleaner has very good suction but I sent it back after half a year. It's really heavy (carrying it up the narrow staircase was so much of a hassle that I considered buying another vacuum for the second floor just to avoid it!) and although it swivels easily to get around corners etc. to handle it's impossible to get under beds and that means you have to constantly switch to the hand hose, which is long and useful but fairly clumsy to maneuver (and switching between the hose and the stand is a two-handed stop- and-go thing, not really quick and easy). After six months of moderate to light use, the sweeper/nozzle that swivels to clean carpets stopped working (a carpet brush that was too long did! For the money this thing was worth, you'd think.), which the Seriously affected machine efficiency. So I ended up sending it back. I liked this vacuum cleaner so much that I was willing to give up a significant percentage of the money I spent to get a partial refund from Revain instead of having Dyson replace it with the same model (as they did due to the 5-year rule). Warranty). ). BTW turns out that if I had bought it direct from Dyson they would have given me a full refund but as I bought it from Revain Dyson would only replace it FYI. However, I am giving it 3 stars because I have never used a more powerful vacuum cleaner. So if that's your main concern, it might be worth considering.
