Review on 🏠 Sylvania Smart Home 74521 Adjustable: Optimize Your Home Automation Experience by Lori Williams

I installed Sylvania Osram Lightify FLEX LED strips in my home bar last year. I preferred the Sylvania Osram Philips or waited for the LIFX because of the 2ft strips and extension/cable/connector packages offered. This allowed me to create a custom setup that suits my needs without wasting additional material. The only downside was that they weren't compatible with the Apple Homekit. I was able to control via the Osram app and turn Alexa on and off. This problem has been solved with the new SMART+. My entire basement and bar are controlled through the Apple Home app, so I switched to SMART+ as soon as it was released. Thanks to Sylvania for publishing Form Fit Function. My existing strips were left untouched and all I had to do was swap out the outlet and Wi-Fi controller. Most companies would force you to buy more and more strips. Set up was very easy using the Apple Home app. The application's control of the stripes is fantastic, with the ability to control color and brightness. I was able to add them to existing scenes with no problems. The only downside is that one of the devices cannot set the stripes to blue. This has worked before and is working on the front of my bar so Revain is currently sending me a replacement which will arrive tomorrow. I will update my review once received and installed. Since the front panel works as expected I assume it's just a product defect as the blue one worked with the old OSRAM Lightify controller. For those deciding between Philips, LIFX, and Sylvania, I recommend the Sylvania based on 2" tiers. Strips (3 x 2" included with the product and then 2 x 2" available as add-ons) that make it easy make it work with any setup based on US measurements with virtually no waste and a connector/accessory kit that comes with each option to customize your setup I used a 4 pin connector, to turn the corner at the front of my bar, and a 4-pin plus extension cord to break behind my barbell into a 6-foot wall run, a 2-foot wall run, and a 2-foot wall run, over my window. Each installation can support up to 20ft LED strips. Update: I received the replacement in a timely manner. Tested before installation and lit up blue as expected. Did a very simple swap of just the wifi controller and now everything is working as it should expected Minor unann amenities, but nothing to complain about.
