I don't usually decorate a big Christmas tree in front of my house, but this year my wife convinced me to do it. Finding a light set that works has always been excruciating. It should be long and light. After some searching I found this set of "strawberry garlands". And I think that's it. The light set is long...nearly 39 feet...and has 50 large C9 style bulbs. That will be more than enough to circle my tree at least once. And since the lamps are inspired by old C9 bulbs, you can see them from across the street, which is great. The LEDs in the set are "smart" and actually do very little. There are built-in programs with modes where they disappear... change colors... and move one by one. These are nice features because the neighbors will always be trying to guess what they're going to do next. With the remote control you have access to all functions and you really understand how to operate them. There's also an app you can download for more control and features, but I don't need that...at least I don't think so. or green from the remote control. So I could leave them for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. It may be too difficult to keep them up to the 4th year of blue light use. I also like that the cable is not very thick and heavy. The lamp is easy to hang in the cold without fumbling with a stiff cord. I just want to be able to connect multiple sets together if I need more. Unfortunately not, and I don't know how well the two separate sets syncronize. I am definitely happy with my strawberry led kit. They're bright... they're big enough to see... and they do a lot. Like I said, I just wish you could chain multiple sets together into a longer chain.
