When we discovered fleas on our herding dog we wanted to try milder products between treatments with Frontline. We gave him a few baths before this product arrived and honestly I don't think this product killed any more fleas than his regular shampoo. After drying him thoroughly with this product so that his whole body was covered in foam, we rinsed and dried him, vacuumed all the carpets he uses, vacuumed his bed, blankets, etc. After drying him, we always found fleas still alive under his coat and about five hours after bathing the fleas were back in full force. But it smells good.
