So far they work well but I wouldn't trust them in the long run. I dropped a few of these this morning and they've hit the edge and a small area has come loose (DVDs are actually several layers glued together). I put one in the floppy drive to try and read it as the damage didn't seem very severe, but it contained a few hundred megabytes that couldn't be read. Further investigation showed that these discs delaminate easily. So they will work just fine if you take care of them. They just don't last very long.
