I wash the filter quite often so I didn't really find it that bad. I can't believe how wrong I was - the difference between the new filter and my old filter was obvious and confused me a bit the first time I vacuumed with the new one. The suction power in the vacuum is much better and there isn't a slight musty smell that I noticed with the old filter. Absolutely no problems installing or fitting to my Dyson V10 - all in all two filters seems like a lot for this relatively cheap price.
