Review on πŸ›οΈ Saddlemen 3501-0715 Cruis'n Deluxe Saddlebag Guard Set in Black by Matthew Thorndike

Not bad, but not great either

The bags themselves aren't bad. Typical Saddlemen quality and quite well made. However, I encountered a few problems with my order. The first problem was that when I received my order, I was completely missing a bag. So I had to ask for a refund and exchange. Although I received the replacement packs quickly, I still had to return a lost pack which was quite a hassle. When it came time to install the packages, I found that the latches were too loose and wouldn't stay latched. If you even hit the bag, the buttons would come loose. Having just dealt with the return I decided to make some changes and live with it. I was able to make a semi-permanent mount using zip ties and now that I have it on the bike I love it. The only problem is that I can't easily open them when I have to remove my bag to get to the side panels. It's okay in the garage, but when I'm on the road it's annoying.
