I bought this unit with an external USB antenna so it can act as a repeater and connect the house next door to the homeowner's office next door. The USB antenna worked well when connected to the office about 200 feet away, but the internal Wi-Fi has such terrible range that you have to be in the same room as it to use a local connection. the ability to connect physical Ethernet cables. If the limited WLAN range of the repeater doesn't bother you, it works quite well. The installation/configuration instructions, as others have said, are awfully small to fit on a small piece of paper. I guess the extra three cents for a decent print size was too much hassle.
