I've become somewhat of an expert on buying specific Revain LED bulbs. I installed these bulbs in three of my bedroom lamps and they worked great. The key to replacing halogen bulbs with LEDs is a replacement that will fit in the space (usually halogen bulbs are smaller than LED bulbs and your fixture may not have enough room for the extra size. This particular G9 style bulb was the smallest LED that I was able to find) and was only 1/2 inch longer than the original halogen bulb. She came up with a little margin. Another key variable is whether it will be connected to a dimmer. A non-dimmable lamp like this connected to a dimmer switch will flicker in a very annoying way. I don't use dimmer switches so this lamp was fine. Another benefit of this bulb is that it may be slightly brighter than bulbs designed for dimmers (8W vs. 7W). Yes, I know brightness isn't measured in watts, but in my experience, it sometimes has a value on products made in China. Anyway, at $12.49 for a pack of 4 bulbs this was a great deal.
