This wall mounted doorstop is well made and durable. The assembly instructions make assembly on a wooden surface too difficult. When installing in wood, do not drill a huge hole in the wall as instructed. Instead, remove the round plate and screw from the back of the device. Attach the screw to the plate and secure with the nut. Be sure to insert the screw with the concave side so that the head of the screw is flush with the side of the panel that will be against the wall. Now just attach the round plate to the wood surface with 2 wood screws where you want the doorstop to be. Once the panel is in place, screw the door stop block to the panel, showing the lag screw you just installed on the wood surface.
