Everything appeared to be in working order at first glance; but, shortly after beginning to use it as a headset, a problem with the microphone was discovered. Hearing difficulties were cited as a complaint by interlocutors. When compared to other AirPods, the sound is extremely muffled. After speaking with Apple's technical support and going through all of the device's configurations and software versions with an engineer, we were informed that the issue was with the microphone. They gave the headphones away for a few days because they had to take them to one of the service locations on Ligovsky / Vosstaniya because the headphones were still covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. They gave an explanation of the circumstances. After waiting for 4 days, we finally got an answer: "faults have not been identified." I will make an effort to take it to the store, but if that fails, I will either have to use it exclusively as headphones or fix it in exchange for monetary compensation. Overall: the headphones are quite interesting, but the quality leaves a lot to be wanted; there is a lot of marriage and no service.
