Definitely not the experience I was hoping for based on the incredible amount of positive feedback this printer has received here. I've only had trouble connecting this thing to my Windows 10 desktop over Wi-Fi or "Wi-Fi Direct". I've been building my own PCs every 2 years since 1999 and I know the issues that sometimes arise between hardware and software, but I've never experienced anything more problematic than keeping this printer wirelessly connected to my tower (once I spent over an hour on it to chat with an Epson tech before reaching a happy ending) and haven't even tried now Do so after his 5th disappearance, opting to connect via USB instead for 2 weeks. Its photo printing capability is no better than my old HP C6150 (story now, sorry) so it doesn't deserve my credit in that regard either. Really, that's just another moot point, as the XP 820 doesn't seem interested in accepting my color management settings, so what to expect in the output tray is more of a nonsense. When I get the result I want, it's not much better than what I've seen from other manufacturers' offerings. And yes, it advertises "5 colors" but 2 of them are black. Keep in mind that this will give you more ink. Scans normally - has a decent depth of options. Copies are good and the input elevator has never failed, although the printer sometimes has trouble finding paper in a full cassette.
