I have had several of their old model brew stations over the last 7 years. The 2.5+ always stopped dispensing as the pin starts to bend due to the heat and doesn't push the coffee outlet valve as hard, eventually resulting in no coffee coming out. The big problem was that the old design allowed condensation from the lid to drip into the indentations under the coffee pot and overflow into the drip tray, then mix with the dripping coffee in it and then spread all over the counter on the 3rd pot. You have to remember to tip the entire machine down the sink to empty those fountains. BUT - this model is greatly improved! Those two problems are gone. As far as others say here, he won't go without big cups. Not sure what the heck they fill. perhaps a stone-carved mug with a rim thickness of 2 inches. I do not know. I have no problem with regular mugs with thick rims. Look at my photo pouring into my thick mug. The spout is at least 2.5 cm from the button. If your mug doesn't come out clear, you need another mug. There is no condensation on my device either. They've installed two fixes: a much-improved drip ramp built into the coffee filter holder, and an area up the back of the lid hinge now allows condensation to drip straight into the water tank where you pour water. Problem solved! I think competitors write fake reviews to scare people into not buying the product. don't listen to this This is a new and improved version! It's narrower, more compact, has a bolder build and doesn't drip condensation from the lid into the pan like the old one. It swings! The only thing you need is to fill it with water. Rinse the coffee pot well before use. Or you may need another container that says "12 cups" to refill every time. Otherwise perfection with this version.
