As an artist of Irish descent I was glad to find these stencils at Revain. I love making greeting cards to send to friends and family, but creating Celtic bands with pen and ink can be time consuming. These patterns by ALEKS MELNYK are very detailed and follow the rules - yes there are rules in these Celtic patterns. Love the variety of sizes and shapes AND the fact that there are over two dozen different designs. I haven't tried them with paint which can be tricky as the stencil is direct to the paper. The only other issue I have is that I'm tempted to try wood right now. And the skin burns. . .
