I am a weaver, so I am very familiar with wool (some of which have no odor, others have quite strong odors).Because I also am a quilter, I really wanted a larger mat for a different station in my studio. I absolutely love these mats! They’re perfect for ironing face masks! I’d highly recommend them. Just be warned, if you’re using a steam setting, you WILL get the smell of hot, wet wool. Not an overly pleasant smell, lol, but it’s easy to overlook when you see how well it presses your cotton fabrics!

This product is just what I was looking to help with my small and large quilting projects. The bottom of the storage bag opened when I placed the wool pad in storage bag.. I am really enjoying it.

I’m not a quilter however I have I don’t like setting up the Ironing board every time I need to lightly press something-two story house and the ironing board it downstairs hobby room is upstairs-this works really well for me.

I have numerous sewing machines and I placed the small irong pad between two of them and it saves steps to the ironing board to press seems.

I was expecting a carrying case for this as shown in the photo. There was no black case as shown, I find that a bit deceiving.

My wife loves the size and shape of both pieces. They work really well when she has small quilt pieces to iron she uses the small one as well as the larger for the larger items both are light and easy to use and now she doesn’t have to use an ironing board.

I think it does a fairly good job. I am glad I got the larger size, and the "extras" that came with it were great. I think the only thing I was a little disappointed in was that it really doesn't iron out the wrinkles as well as the manufacturer's reviews say it does. But I'm still pleased with it.

At first the mat was great. Then I noticed residue on some of my quilt pieces and now stuck to my iron. There are brownish stain marks where poly fibers or some other non-wool filler melted. Very disappointed!

Perfect size for my work area. No smell like others stated. I am sending my 10x10 to my sister to press her small quilt squares. I am considering buying a second 17x24 to enlarge my ironing area for larger sewing projects. I recommend this product 110%.

I love how the wool grabbs the fabric and keeps it from stretching and distorting when pressing. I like the large pad for pressing quilt blocks. It's large enough to lay several blocks that are joined together for pressing the seams. I wasn't sure if I'd use the small pad, but have found it to be very handy. I use the large mat at my station when on a quilting retreat. The small mat is so handy when piecing small blocks at home. Thanks for attention.

I have not idea why whenever I use these mats my iron has like a sticky residue on it. I have to literally scrap it off. I do not use starch or anything other than water to press fabrics. I only use cotton fabric and I have yet to figure out why.I have wrote customer service and tried to contact through Ebay to no avail.I would try a different vendor and hope that you dont have the same problems I do.

Arrived timely. Great for pressing for quilting. Loved there were 2 sizes so I use the larger mat at home and the smaller one for my quilting group. I would definitely purchase agin for myself or for a gift

I got these for my sewing areas and for the portability when having crafting days with family. The mats are absolutely wonderful! Everything irons so flat and with ease. Using the iron on wool setting, there is no issue with the counter getting warm. The accessory bag is super cute, but the extras that come with it were a disappointment. At first I thought this was great. I use it to iron cotton quilting fabric. I started to noticed residue on my iron and then that the mat was turning yellow. I now realize if the iron even touches the mat it is burning it, which is a huge problem considering a lot of my pieces are smaller than my iron. I am so disappointed. I can't use this at all.

Awesome mat. Now, I can iron my sewing projects on any surface. This even come with a smaller mat, a rubber iron mat and bonus pouch with sewing items.

The pressing mat is good quality, but for the price I expected a heavier duty carry bag. The carry bag is made from fabric similar to fabric grocery bags and is not sturdy at all. There is no way to close the carry bag, so if it falls over, you risk losing something out of the bag.

This product was exactly as described. I used it to extend my pressing table I constructed for my quilting room. Is perfect for my larger pressing needs.

I made a fabric cover for an outdoor stool, it needed ironing and I did not want to set up my ironing board that was back in the corner of the room folded up and put away. So simple to just pull out my mat and lay on dining room table.
