Bought last Christmas 2020. The case is a little lighter than in the photo. It's on the light side compared to a thick blanket. Although with a blanket in winter it's perfect for us. The bedspread fits like a duvet on our loft bed, just as I expected. It drops about 12 inches off the ground. Pillowcases are not too big and our king size pillows fill them out nicely. I really like this material as it seems to hold up well under our dogs and doesn't catch their claws on their feet. I also bought a double duvet to make 2 window sills and maybe a dog duvet to cover our bed during the day. For the price I am happy with my purchase. Only time will tell if it will hold up to regular washing. UPDATE: So I made a dog bed and two window balancers out of a double blanket. They turned out just as I had hoped! It's not hard at all and now hopefully our royal layout is dog hair free and we can just wash it lol. We're still working on getting the dog heads off our pillows 😂🤣😂. As for the warmth of this blanket, I can say that I sleep better with it and with the blanket than I ever did with our old heavy thick jacquard blanket. Not a single night where you threw back the covers or worked up a night sweat. My husband is not too cold, so win win! UPDATE October 2021: The bedspread is still holding up great, the dog bedspread has faded a bit as it is washed almost once a week. I'm still satisfied!
