Didn't work for me. I'm not the type of person to make easy mistakes and this product is straight forward. Unfortunately, my blade from Andis hasn't improved. I have tried to get it working but there is no alternative to sharpening as I said it is a basic product and my blade has not improved. It's also very expensive for what it really is. A piece of plastic with a sharpening stone at a 45 degree angle. I thought it was metal for the price but no. I ended up going to MY whetstone that I bought at Walmart and sharpened all my blades.
