Must be programmed for vehicle with dedicated computer

Exactly what I was looking for with my 2007 Honda Civic EX coupe but getting this thing to work with my Civic proved to be the case as a nightmare I hope you can avoid. Simply put, you pay a mobile locksmith to cut and program the key for your car. It will cost you a lot, but there is no way around it. I paid $90 for trimming and $120 for programming (for two keys). It has a transponder chip installed for the ignition immobilizer. There is also a keyless entry feature. Both work fine if you program your CAR to read the chips, but you'll need a mobile locksmith or dealer to do this for you. The videos I've seen on YouTube on how to program my own keys don't work on my machine. You MUST use a programming tool connected to your OBD2 for it to work. I originally took my keys to the dealer and they wouldn't cut aftermarket keys on their machines because they claimed the drill bit could be contaminated with aftermarket alloy. The dealer only cuts genuine Honda keys.
