I received this to replace the same model I bought so long ago. I can't even remember how long I've had it, but it's probably around 15 years old. And this one still works, but I figured the blades needed to be removed and a new one would probably be a noticeable improvement. And it was. It cuts softer and closer, and it's not as loud as the old one. But other than that, it's the same device I've been using for years. It works very well and the tip is small enough to get where it needs to go. It's comfortable, and even the old one, with the plastic blade guard long gone, never stings or tears your hair. Works well for me so hope it lasts as long as the last one.
