I received this to replace the same model I bought so long ago. I can't even remember how long I've had it, but it's probably around 15 years old. And this one still works, but I figured the blades needed to be removed and a new one would probably be a noticeable improvement. And it was. It cuts softer and closer, and it's not as loud as the old one. But other than that, it's the same device I've been using for years. The quality of Philips Norelco trimmers continues to decline. I only used this trimmer once a week for 45 days only to have it drop dead once it was out of the money back guarantee window. As many others are complaining, it stopped turning on and stopped working. While I like these trimmers better than competing models, if Philips Norelco can't overcome their shoddy reliability, I'll have to switch to another brand.

Good inexpensive skirt, beautiful and comfortable, long length, you can shorten it by simply lifting it up a little at the waist, or simply twisting the waist with an elastic band. Broad.

Nice sharp blades but they don't snag. I used them to trim my nose, ears and eyebrows. It's nice that a battery is included and they're the perfect travel cap and size. This product surprised me with its quality.

This trimmer performs better than all the many other trimmers I've tried over the years. I love it when the little head gets into tight spots and cuts the hair in my ears. It's still hard to trim unruly hair, but for the price, it beats most at any price point.

I had a Norelco that I found on sale somewhere many years ago - and I have many other trimmers tried - but Norelco has always been the best of all time. After 10+ years with another - decided to get a new one - just for the blade if not more - although the old one still works great. Very happy with it - and with the Norelco product.
