If you don't know what size you need, look for the number on the back of the slider on your existing zip, or measure the length of the zip in millimeters. I needed number 7 to fix my coat and that was the only place I could find it. There was a lot more in the kit than I needed but I knew that when I bought it. The exchange was easy. I am very happy with this purchase.
