Nice monitor. Pros: - Amazing color. I can't stress it. - High refresh rate. Very smooth - Excellent build quality. Cons: - Relatively loud constant "static" noise from the display at higher refresh rates. Not audible at 60 Hz. Sometimes there are problems with flickering after waking up from sleep. This can be fixed by going into settings and lowering the refresh rate to 60 and back to 165, but I don't have to. Aoru's built-in settings suck. There are many options, which is nice, but you can only use them if you can run the program. It only runs ONCE when the system boots up. Don't close it. The "game assistants" are annoying and I can't turn them off. In particular,"Target Stabilization". It doesn't make much difference to aiming in shooters, but it does in Assassin's Creed, and not for the better. Also, the option to disable is grayed out. The Gigabyte FAQ didn't help. However, this is only an issue with my custom image settings. Using the preset (with the feature disabled) works, but then I can't use the other settings I need. All in all this is a wonderful monitor and fantastic, when it works properly it's really amazing but it also has some annoying quirks. Questions you should know.
