Totally dissatisfied with this reel. Getting in and out is as annoying as it gets. I use this for my electric mower so I unroll and rewrap it every week. There are two hooks in the center of the reel that should grab and hold the line from both sides for you to reel it in. They looked flimsy so I used zip ties as well. They broke off in the 2nd week. No big deal just thought they would last at least a few months but damn it 2 weeks? It's garbage. What I really dislike about this reel is the plastic nut that attaches the reel to the frame. You have to turn clockwise to hold the nut or it will fall off midway and you will have to straighten the cord strand. It's only 1/2 inch thick and made of the same thin plastic as the reel. strings he attaches to the strips he will be useless, which I shall soon assume. For $15 I can't really complain, but if an item can adequately perform the function it was made for, 2 stars. If you're planning on storing that occasionally used cable on a reel, that's fine. If you use it weekly like I do, it's too cheap and poor quality to keep you going. I suggest you spend a little more and look elsewhere.
