Bought for my kids at sleep camp. Their cabins are a little primitive (no electricity/AC) so that's a nice bonus/cheat in a hot east coast/mid-Atlantic state. The strap allows them to use the hands-free system. I like that their design reduces a similar chance of hair getting into the device. They're battery operated, which isn't eco-friendly, but since they don't have a charging option, that was an option. Someday I will add some new batteries to keep it running and see how long the fans run with fresh batteries. TIP: When you're on the go, keep batteries separate from your device and insert them when you're ready to use them. . This prevents accidental switching on of the device during transport and when the batteries are discharged. If you let children use it, teach them how to put the batteries in themselves.
