I am an ASE certified mechanic. I installed a mass air flow sensor in my car, started the engine and used the computer to monitor the readings from the new sensor. That was completely wrong. I then attempted to drive the car after resetting the ECU to relearn it at idle and this caused my car to backfire under load. This new sensor was worse than my old failed sensor. A complete waste of money. Now I have to do my best, send the sensor back and wait weeks for my $26. Here's what I get when I try to save $200 on an OEM replacement. LESSON LEARNED.
