C clamp is not strong enough
Main problem This is because the C-clamp is not strong enough. A really super tight clamp can never be achieved, because when you turn the clamp screw, the actual L-shaped clamp arms begin to bend. With heavier loads, this is a problem. Reinforcement with another C-clamp whose role is to stabilize the clamp of the light poles and prevent them from sagging.
