    Ideal for ball head cameras.

    Ideal for lighting. I use this to keep the camera as a webcam. I took the ball head to set up the camera and it seems solid, comes well packaged and the clip is the best shape I could find.

    C clamp is not strong enough

    Main problem This is because the C-clamp is not strong enough. A really super tight clamp can never be achieved, because when you turn the clamp screw, the actual L-shaped clamp arms begin to bend. With heavier loads, this is a problem. Reinforcement with another C-clamp whose role is to stabilize the clamp of the light poles and prevent them from sagging.

    Cost-Effective Lightweight Tabletop Lighting Stand (Neewer)

    This is a versatile, lightweight stand that attaches to a table. One feature I like is that you can adjust the maximum opening of the clamp so you can accommodate thicker or thinner table surfaces before tightening the clamp. The only thing that disappointed me was the thickness of the hose and the overall weight of the product; I expected something heavier.     Design prevents secure clamping

    There is a screw in the wide C-shaped part of the base clamp that sticks out. This screw interferes with the flat, wide part of the base C, which is pressed against the table top, causing the clamp to rotate back and forth on the screw head. For this reason it is not very safe. This screw is visible in the photos.

    C-clip not strong enough

    The main problem is that the C-clip is not strong enough. You can never get a super tight clamp because as you turn the clamp screw, the true L-shaped clamp mounts will start to flex. With large loads this is a problem. Finally I reinforce with another C-Clip whose job is to stabilize the light post clamp and prevent it from bending.
