I bought this to repair/light up my Ram's console area which is on the bottom panel. This little light is VERY powerful. I actually had to stick a small piece of window film on it as it was too light. Now he looks PERFECT! INSTALLATION TIPS: - DO NOT install it where it shines in your eyes, it is VERY BRIGHT. - If you want the light to be on when the car is on, just use an outlet that is turned off by the car. Walk until you see the copper wires. - OFFSET these trim areas to prevent current from reaching the ground. - Now strip the ends of the light wires to 1" and wrap them around the two cut areas. - Turn on the wrench and make sure you have the correct polarity for the work light. - Turn off the wrench and solder the wires, wrap the soldered wires with electrical tape.
