UPDATE: I have placed another order for the shoes advertised (with teardrop cutouts on the toe). I got the wrong pair again. The same ones I received the first time (I attached a picture to the review - they don't have cutouts for drops). This is very annoying. Both orders were placed with Hot Heels Shoestique. I would not recommend buying from them, I received the wrong pair of shoes. I check the ones I received (even if they are returned) not the ones I actually ordered. They look solid and well made, but a bit plain for my taste. Patent leather doesn't look obviously fake. I usually wear an 8, sometimes an 8.5. This is a roomy size 8 but smaller than the typical 8.5. I would suggest ordering your normal size if your feet are medium width. The heel is pretty low. I didn't measure, but I'd say they're about 3 inches tall - a comfortable height to wear all night. I bought them for a party in the 1920's. They are perfect for that.
